Ajijic, Lake Chapala, Mexico

Its a tough job but somebody has to do it….. How did we get so lucky to be invited to present one of our amazing workshops in such a glorious place?

We had never been to this part of Mexico before and what a treat it was to step back in time where the pace is slower, the skies are blue, the food is fresh from the market – not a pesticide in sight nor a chem trail.

Flowers…Bougainvillea everywhere, the gardenias were just starting to come out, cowboys on horseback – now we are talking!!! The odd Donkey – now everyone knows Donkeys aren’t odd!!

High elevation brings Perfect weather everyday around the 25c / 80F  mark and its also the 2nd most popular place to retire in the world for the weather!!! Yep TRUE. 

A gorgeous lake to relax by or take a boat ride and gentle, kind helpful people. Really a beautiful place to take some time out to reflect on what is important.

You can also go there to have your Teeth issues addressed of which I paid the following – $300USD for a clean, filling and crown. Incredible!! 

Surrounded be Healing Thermal Hot Springs and wonderful restaurants. Did I mention the Avocados – OMG – they were huge.

The funny thing about a destination like this and the people who have made it their home reminds us that every day you never know what it is you are going to learn. Our participants had the opportunity to delve into new possibilities and revel in appreciation and gratitude as to how incredibly fortunate we all are. 

How often do we stop and give thanks for the blessings in life? How often do we stop to appreciate all that is available? Give thanks for the amazing coffee we have just raced for and manifested – and let me tell you the freshly ground coffee is up there in the world’s greatest coffee.

Appreciation is an under used word but we received it in spades and have gratefully been invited back same time next year.
