TOUR of a Lifetime in Nepal

$2,500.00

TOUR of a Lifetime in Nepal –
2019 September 12th – 25th –
14 Days/13 Nights

This is an invitation to step back in time to experience and explore behind the scenes one of the most beautiful and ancient countries in the world. Even leaving the airport is eye opener, as the saying goes ‘You are not in Kansas anymore!’ Small cars weaving in and out dodging sacred cows! Yup – you got it… Really! And this is just the beginning. Our Hotel is constructed from hand made bricks and stunning hand carved woodwork by the the very talented craftsmen of the Newari caste.

Kathmandu is the bustling, history-filled Capital of Nepal, with Centuries old Hindu and Buddhist monuments. Walking on cobbled streets to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Durbar Square is where we begin our journey, a monument-filled Royal Square that’s at the beating heart of the Old City and backs onto what was The Royal Residence. Palaces and ancient monuments what stories they can tell.

After the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu we visit the Medieval City of Bhaktapur on foot – no cars allowed. We then make our way to the majestic low mountains of the Himalayas. Here we stay in a Traditional environment and visit the Village where solar panels which were donated by HOG Heaven have been installed.

Joanna Giles and her work with the HOG HEAVEN Foundation, has been visiting Nepal for over 20 years and this ‘Tour of a Lifetime in Nepal’ is a heart felt behind the scenes collection of Joanna’s favourite things to do – experience incredible connections, amazing vistas, villages, mountains and a culture so ancient.

Be brought back to Earth by the humility of the Nepalese people and truly come to terms with gratitude as to how blessed we are.
